To start creating the page looks pretty simple and we still use some basic steps that we have been using the whole year for InDesign which is also pretty simple. Then turning the paragraph styles on also looks pretty simple it is what we had to do to turn on the timeline for our animation. Therefore, to get everything set up to start working looks pretty easy. The pages part also looks easy which is what he was talking about in the video since it is one of the main things. However, the master page may be difficult for me since I may forget that it overrides everything.

This video is similar to the first video. It is just a basic tutorial of InDesign. However, he did start off by using columns which was different from the first video. He started off with just the tools and then added pages. The columns do look a little difficult, however, I do think that when it comes time to actually do these steps and work on a project it will become easier. Adding the image and text like he did in the video does not seem that difficult, the text especially looks really simple to do. I feel like after you add the image and text your project is also almost done, but I could be wrong. However, this InDesign will not take as long as some other projects.

This video is similar to the first video as well because, in the beginning, he talks about where to find the tools and what the specific tools will do throughout this project. He then talks about creating a text frame which is something we have had to do throughout this whole class, so this is definitely easy for me. Near the end middle of the video he talks about transforming frames, this is something that seems a little difficult but I feel like once it comes down to me doing it by myself it will be easier than watching someone else do it.

  Artist Statement:  In my animation "Blossoms and Sunshine," I wanted to show the cool journey of a flower blooming, all made in Photoshop. Starting with the timeline, I brought together a bunch of images to tell the story of a flower growing. I embedded each individual image into photoshop. I used the quick selection tool to cut out each piece just right, and with the brush tool, I switched up from white to black to make that growing effect of the flower. Every image got its own layer, and I grouped some together to stay organized by making a folder. Masking was key for making everything blend smoothly. My goal was to make something that feels real and full of life, like you're watching a real flower bloom right in front of you. It's a simple, chill animation that I hope makes people feel as happy as a sunny day with flowers everywhere.

 #1 Blog      Hi! My name is Maeve Hydock, I am from Pennsylvania, and I live right outside Philadelphia. I am a Freshman at The University of Tampa and I am currently majoring in entrepreneurship. I may switch my major to marketing but I do enjoy the business field. A fun fact about me is that I have a dog named Franklin. I enjoy traveling, going on runs, painting, and cooking. I recently went to Costa Rica with a few of my friends and it was the coolest place I have been. I go on runs almost every day on Bayshore when I am at school. Ps HW 1 - Maeve Hydock

 Video One: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZACwQzj7TQ  This video was very interesting because he made everything seem pretty easy even though I know it may be harder when I start using the tools. However, he was able to explain it in a pretty good way in a short amount of time. To start the first tool that I find easy to use is the Lasso tool. I will use this to cut things out of an image that I do not want there. The patch tool seemed a little more difficult since it replaced something in the image. He made it seem pretty easy to use like I said above, however, I feel like when I actually use it, it will be more difficult.  Video Two: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS5uh5TCXcU  In the video, what I found interesting was how he went through a short tutorial on a lot of the tools.
