    Overall this video explained everything pretty well in a short amount of time. I found it easy to change the fill and stroke of the rectangle or whatever shape I would use. Then, how he explained that all we had to do to change the shape and form was to hit V on the keyboard seemed easy. The startle tool seems easy overall, this is because we just have to press buttons on our keyboard to do certain steps. This is definitely something I will have to remember but after I get it down it will be easy. He then talks about the pen tool. This is the tool we used in class during the first game we played when we had to outline the heart and the car. This tool was difficult for me at first but after a bit of practice, I was able to understand it more and use it better. The curvature tool also seems difficult at first, as mentioned in the video, it is similar to the pen tool. Like I said in the video I enjoyed how it was explained in a short amount of time, however this is just the basics and I know that it will continue to get harder.

    In the beginning, he increased the stroke and then did something with the color panel. I understood what he was doing it was just confusing. Overall, this design did not seem that difficult he did just go pretty fast even though he did explain it well. In this video, I enjoyed how he explained how to create something with seven tips. This definitely helped me because instead of just doing each step he gave tips to help us through each step

    Beginner designs seem pretty easy overall. This is because in the video he mentioned what each thing was that I would be looking at when I am in the workspace. These items are also what I will be using at the start. He also explained the basic tools just like the guy did in the first video. What I found interesting in this video was that in the beginning, he explained what Illustrator is. He gave us the definition and what it was used for. He also explained what I was going to see when I got the software. This way I will know what I am looking at before even starting a project.

  Artist Statement:  In my animation "Blossoms and Sunshine," I wanted to show the cool journey of a flower blooming, all made in Photoshop. Starting with the timeline, I brought together a bunch of images to tell the story of a flower growing. I embedded each individual image into photoshop. I used the quick selection tool to cut out each piece just right, and with the brush tool, I switched up from white to black to make that growing effect of the flower. Every image got its own layer, and I grouped some together to stay organized by making a folder. Masking was key for making everything blend smoothly. My goal was to make something that feels real and full of life, like you're watching a real flower bloom right in front of you. It's a simple, chill animation that I hope makes people feel as happy as a sunny day with flowers everywhere.

 #1 Blog      Hi! My name is Maeve Hydock, I am from Pennsylvania, and I live right outside Philadelphia. I am a Freshman at The University of Tampa and I am currently majoring in entrepreneurship. I may switch my major to marketing but I do enjoy the business field. A fun fact about me is that I have a dog named Franklin. I enjoy traveling, going on runs, painting, and cooking. I recently went to Costa Rica with a few of my friends and it was the coolest place I have been. I go on runs almost every day on Bayshore when I am at school. Ps HW 1 - Maeve Hydock

 Video One: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZACwQzj7TQ  This video was very interesting because he made everything seem pretty easy even though I know it may be harder when I start using the tools. However, he was able to explain it in a pretty good way in a short amount of time. To start the first tool that I find easy to use is the Lasso tool. I will use this to cut things out of an image that I do not want there. The patch tool seemed a little more difficult since it replaced something in the image. He made it seem pretty easy to use like I said above, however, I feel like when I actually use it, it will be more difficult.  Video Two: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xS5uh5TCXcU  In the video, what I found interesting was how he went through a short tutorial on a lot of the tools.
